Paradiski
An Enormous and Amazingly Diverse Ski Area, as the official site says, is one of the Europe's largest ski areas with altitudes between 1200 m and 3250 m facing Mont Blanc, with 160 lifts, and 435 km of pistes; 152 beginner (green/blue) runs, 79 intermediate (red) runs and 22 expert (black) runs.
Paradiski offers uninterrupted skiing in the areas of Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne. The areas are linked by the spectacular Vanoise Express since December 2003.
The Tarentaise Valley has the biggest concentration of world-class ski resorts in the world. Well known neighbours are Espace Killy (Val d'Isère and Tignes) and Les Trois Vallées (Courchevel, Méribel, Val Thorens and more). A weekly Paradiski lift ticket gives you a choice to ski one day in each of the other two systems mentioned. The plans existed to interlink all systems and resorts to create the - by far - largest ski area in the world. However that vision was ended with the creation of the Vanoise National Park.
