Bardonecchia
Bardonecchia is one of the original ski resorts that hosted the first Italian Ski Championships in 1909. Today, it is a modern ski resort with every comfort, situated in a sunny bowl at 1300m. The town hosted the snowboarding events of the 2006 Winter Olympics, being also the site of one of the three Olympic Villages.
